God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
I only had a surface revelation of this scripture. I knew in my spirit that I had an incomplete revelation of this word. I decided to meditate upon this scripture in the hope that God would grant me revelation. I mediated for 3 days on this verse and I was no closer to understanding it, than when I had begun.
I was on the verge of giving up when I decided to take the dog for a walk. During the walk the Lord spoke to my spirit. He said, “Obedience is the highest form of worship.”
It is your obedience to His word that allows His anointing and power to flow through your life and worship. If your life/worship lacks anointing, it is because your life lacks obedience.
Truly, Obedience is The Highest Form of Worship!
